Electronic Monopoly! *This post was issued a Nerd Alert

This is the saddest thing I’ve seen in a while. And just in time for the collapse of the American Dollar!

Monopoly money was a pretty iconic learning tool of renting, buying and money management if I remember correctly. The release of electronic Monopoly is pretty reflective of the present and future state of our finances, and scares the crap out of me. When money is a tangible object, it seems you are less likely to piss it away, and more likely to save up for the upcoming depression. (Oh yeah, it’s coming) But I feel like this is a sign that soon we won’t have cash and we will only have a number in our bank accounts. And what’s a number anyway? You don’t really have anything. It could be a zero whenever someone decides it’s a zero. Thanks to Hasbro for sending me on a conspiracy spiral of sadness.
