Britney Spears‘ stay at the UCLA Medical Center will be extended by 14 days, TMZ.com reports.

Spears has been in the hospital since early Thursday morning, when she was admitted involuntarily under a “mental evaluation hold” following an intervention by her parents.

On Friday, her father, Jamie, was granted temporary legal control over his daughter. He also has full control of her residence – where a theft was reported on Friday – and can legally remove anyone who is staying there until the next hearing, on Monday.

Spears is being treated for severe bipolar disorder, TMZ reports. UCLA is renowned for its treatment of the mental illness.
